Mint, White & Statement Heels

TATH | Today at the Headquarters

How is your week going? It’s kind of a back and forth weather wise in Munich, but other than that I cannot complain. My week started with sunshine and my attendance of this year’s DLDSummer Conference in Munich. It covers talks and networking over digitalization, design and a healthy lifestyle. If you’d like to be inspired with fresh front-end innovative content, go and check out their website dld-conference.com

For the conference I wore a refreshing outfit in a summery color scheme.

I enjoy wearing the combination of white on white for the top. Find a similar items here: top | blazer. Stylewise I discovered that layering long on short works out well for my body type. A short top and a long blazer elongate my legs and still cover my behind shaping my body almost in a straight way. It’s quite a nice effect to my natural silhouette that is shaped triangle and hourglass.

A tiny pop of color complements the outfit and adds some dimension to the white appearance. I am wearing a fun summer necklace – similar here.

I am intensifying the straight style effect with my hair straight and side parted. A pink lip is always a good addition to a daytime outfit. I think Clinique’s Chubby Stick is pretty handy.

The white top draws the attention to my face and my statement pumps round off the look nicely. My 7/8 Capri pants blend in with the colorful sandals through the harmonious color scheme – find similar pants here. Shoes and pants blend in almost as monochromatic.

One thing I set as a daily business styling rule: Never walk in heels to work, a meeting or an event. I wear flats on the way and then change into my heels at the occasion.
