I hope you had a wonderful weekend rejuvenating whatever that means to you. For me it is seeing art – mostly modern art. Munich has wonderful museums and world class art on display. When you enter the Pinakothek der Moderne high concrete stacks hold an incredible building inviting you to a modern world of visual delight. The first thing you see is the Rotunde, the entrance where you must look up to see the wonderfully designed roof windows. Where you are standing right now is also the centerfold of the building where to access and exit all areas of the museum. Did you know that every Sunday it is only 1€ entrance fee?! Visiting the Rotunde, the wonderful book shop or the Café is for free. If you love architecture and a great place to spend an afternoon, I recommend the Café and lounge area where the afternoon sun creates playful shadows on the walls. Make sure to bring cash, they won’t accept any cards.
Today I am wearing a new outfit I recently bought at Zara. They have a fairly new store on Kaufinger Str. with a more chic and business relevant selection I am really craving right now. I posted their opening on Instagram. Follow me along there if you like > @tath_me.
I find this draped top made of wool very versatile and beautiful for fall and I already see it being a keeper for next year. You can dress it up with a skirt and down with jeans – just as you like. I also think it will look great with trousers. I am pairing it with a pencil skirt I also found at Zara. It is really warm and just perfect for the office. The statement necklace and classic pumps elevate the already chic combo. Today’s outfit is a Sunday to Monday thing where I am loving it so much that I will wear it right again tomorrow when being back at the Headquarters.
